Bay to Breakers

Every year in San Francisco there is a huge race from the Bay to the Breakers. The event is pronounced Beta Breakers and it is populated by serious runners, semi serious joggers, walkers, nudists, drunk college students, high old people, and pretty much anyone in the bay area who owns a ridiculous outfit (or can put one together). We decided to attend the event to really soak in the culture.... now we are drench with culture.... among other things.

Our morning started at 1:00 am when we went to sleep. well i guess that's when our night ended.
Our morning really began three hours later when we woke up... AT 4:00!!!
Next we walked to the Cal Train station, so that we, like every other student at Santa Clara could ride to San Fran.

So the train was quite full.
And we rode in the bathroom. literally. stood in the bathroom. for the hour and half trip. and yes... people still used the bath room... the one we were in. (I have pictures of that but I might get sued)
We were all looking our best. Trying to fit in. We though we went all out. We were wrong.
You can't tell very well in this pic. But the multi colored blur all the way back between the trees... yeah thats hundreds.. thousands more people.
everyone had RIDICULOUS costumes on. Here we are with Tetris. Most pictures we took with the other walkers are too inappropriate, and I hear my grandma reads this every now and then. Lets just say there was a lot of drinking, drug use, and nudity. Complete, full, old people, nudity.

It was probably the most fun I've ever had in San Fran. And next year... we'll be prepared.
